gangs and riots

I like books about gangs. Whether they be the street kind, apocolyptic kind, lovable band of misfits kind, Let's start a riot! kind, whichever. I love them.

So. Reccomendations, you lovely bloggers you?

  1. Hmm...Well the Gone series by Michael Grant involves gangs sorta. It's like superhuman Lord of the Flies. So yeah...the characters eventually consider themselves in gangs. I guess that counts.

  2. Not sure if this will be your cup of tea but Simone Elkeles' Perfect Chemistry deals with high-school gang members - Spanish Blood Gang.

Try that. But I have to warn you, it is a romance which deals with the gang problem.

i deleted anonymous comments because i feel that if you have something to say, you shouldn't hide behind a veil. if you don't feel comfortable with this, then obviously you shouldn't be saying what you intend to.
