Holy shit! I've read almost a third of this! Victory!

I struggled through Twilight, and I would rather have a sharp stick in my eye that continue the series. Wow ... it looks like you and I have loved many of the same books, including Anne of Green Gables, Little Women, The Giver, and more. I haven't read The Book Thief yet.

Haha!!! I love reading over opinionated/ bitchy posts. I stumbled over this at work, and it totally boosted my morning.

Yay I'm so glad I'm responsible for starting this snarkfest!

I'm with you on HG. Fun and entertaining book but hardly anything new. Read Battle Royale instead which it heavily rips off of.

Graceling is awesome! A must read.

Love you comment for Hush, Hush. I had a total WTF? expression on my face.

Hahaha I laughed really hard while reading this! I agree with most of them, but I don't know I'm a huge huge fan of The Hunger Games series.

...Words do not express how disgusted I am that they are putting TWILIGHT before any of the classics like To Kill a Mockingbird or Little Women. Just...UGH. I think this list is more a popularity contest then a actual judge of quality, that's the only explanation I have for it.

Anon-glad to help!

sharon--i DID read battle royale, and it is definetly UHmazing, but i dont really see how it rips off HP except for the whole school scenerio...

Sara--arent we all? :D

fantasylover--oh, most deff. theres no way twilight trumps my precious scout finch.

I'm so glad that I've read most of these.
You really should read Wintergirls. It's one of my favorite books.
I'm so hesitant to read To Kill A Mockingbird. So, so hesitant.

May want to consider crediting the one who compiled the data for this list - goodbooksandgoodwine.com. And have to keep in mind that it's not one person's idea of the top 100, but rather whoever took the time to fill out the survey :)

D Swizzle said...

shanyn--i got it from Sharon Loves Books and Cats, so I assumed it was some official list or something...

Simon said...

@"Dannie", get your own fucking cookie.

D Swizzle said...

Simon-but why would I, when you can get it for me?

Simon said...

Because you would need to lose the weight anyway?

D Swizzle said...

You know that doesn't work anymore.

If you read the top of Sharon's post you'll see she includes a link to April's blog (which also allows the reader to see more about how the list was created). It's not an official list by any means, which is why I think giving credit is important.
